Cannabis consumption remains stable, decreases among the youngest adults, leading to an older user group
The latest figures from the Nationale Drug Monitor (NDM, 2026 edition) (National Drug Monitor) provide a comprehensive and factual overview of cannabis consumption in the Netherlands. In 2024, 6.9% of adults (18+) consumed cannabis in the past year. This equates to approximately 980,000 adults.
